A lot of people in the UK feel privacy issues on social media aren’t an issue but I think it’s important to be aware of the extent of surveillance and the kind of consequences some people have been facing. A tweeter who joked that he’d blow up a snowed-in airport if he couldn’t get home ended up being dragged through the courts and fined £1000. That would really matter to me!
